Perfect Touch of Blue Rug
I found the cutest rug from Boutique rugs for the living room. I would have never thought I would choose something with color for this room. The creams with subtle blue were just enough color but not too overwhelming.

I don’t even know where to start with this half bathroom. There are so many reasons why this little room needed some major love. It is awkward, small, and not very functional. When we bought this house, I just knew we would have to do some changes to make this bathroom work for our family.
Kitchen Update: Appliance Edition
This kitchen has really come together from where we started when we bought the house. We decided to replace all the appliances to fit our needs and give the kitchen an updated look. One of the things we have come to enjoy is cooking on a gas range.
Kitchen Update: Bar Stool Edition
I am so excited to have bar stools. Not just any barstools but LumiSource Fuji Gold Metal barstools. I will be honest, we hardly ever sit at the dining table. With three kids, you can usually find most of our meals eaten at the island on barstools. It has been a little rough without stools during the remodel.
Hunter Fan Company
There are two things Mr. Whitelane requires in a house. A fan in the master bedroom and a fan in the living room. I guess it’s a guy thing? He really can’t sleep at night unless he has a ceiling fan circulating the air. Mr. Whitelane also loves to have a fan in the living room to circulate air as well. I swear he would have one in the kitchen too if I didn’t care.

We need help with our farm house exterior! My husband and i are stuck on white. While everyone is telling us to go with color! Any suggestions?

Go with what you really want. Don’t worry about what everyone else wants. Look at Pinterest for pictures of a similar style of your house in white and other colors. After you see pictures, you will know what you are really drawn to. You have to live there. Everyone tried to talk me out of white too. I just love my white exterior, though.

The table was a yard sale find that I refinished and painted myself. The chairs are the IKEA Ingolf chairs in white. Thank you so much. White decor is my fav!
