My son has been asking for a ceiling fan in his room since we moved into this house a few months ago. In our last house, we had a ceiling fan in every single room. Mr. Whitelane loves to have moving air constantly circulating. We built our previous house so that was an easy accommodation to have fans everywhere.

Labor Day Sales
School is back in session and I have to admit I am just a little sad. I miss the summer fun of no schedules and lots of swimming. However, I am also beyond excited for fall. Bathroom Update With Kichler
The bathrooms upstairs needed some cosmetic updates to fit our style. I wanted to create a space that would be functional and stylish. I have said it so many times but I will say it again. One of the easiest ways to update a space or give it some character is with lighting.

Do you know how hard it is to find an affordable sofa that also can handle three young kids? It has to be durable, comfortable, stylish, functional, etc. There is a long list of requirements for a sofa to be able to survive in this home. I was so excited to find Burrow and see all the amazing customization for a sofa they offer.

We need help with our farm house exterior! My husband and i are stuck on white. While everyone is telling us to go with color! Any suggestions?

Go with what you really want. Don’t worry about what everyone else wants. Look at Pinterest for pictures of a similar style of your house in white and other colors. After you see pictures, you will know what you are really drawn to. You have to live there. Everyone tried to talk me out of white too. I just love my white exterior, though.
Can you please share the manufacturer of your table and chairs in your kitchen?? Love your style and love white as well!! My kitchen is all white!
The table was a yard sale find that I refinished and painted myself. The chairs are the IKEA Ingolf chairs in white. Thank you so much. White decor is my fav!
