I have been thinking about all the things that are must-haves on the next house. One of my favorites is a wood-burning stove. I know you’re probably thinking that sounds really old and outdated. Well. I think they are really timeless and quite practical.

Wood burning stoves are a great heat source. In fact, they are better and quicker at heating a space than a wood-burning fireplace. Have you seen one lately? They actually look really awesome! Stoves are not your grandma’s anymore.

I love the contrast of the black against a white backdrop. But then there is a white wood-burning stove that also looks gorgeous. Living in Utah means we would utilize the stove a ton as our main heat source in the winter. Bonus points for not having to be dependent on electricity for heat either!
